The contents of this box represent in effect a deposit on the larger collection of the papers of Joel Belz. Most of Mr. Belz's papers remain in active use by him at this time, both in his work as editor of World magazine and in his service to the Church. Mr. Belz has most recently served as Moderator of the 31st General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America, as it met in Charlotte, North Carolina.
