It is recommended that each minister give one sermon each week to the preaching of the catechisms. This could be done either on Sunday or at mid-week services.

After the sermon, the minister should ordinarily offer a prayer to Almighty God; then let a psalm or hymn be sung and the congregation dismissed with the benediction.

The sermon being ended, the minister is to pray, and return thanks to Almighty God; then let a psalm or hymn be sung, and the assembly dismissed with the apostolic benediction.
